'Big Bang Theory' Spinoff Gets New Title, Focuses Around Kevin Sussman's Character

The title of the upcoming The Big Bang Theory spinoff series is being revealed! The latest offshoot of the popular CBS comedy will be premiering on streaming service Max, and we have a new update, which coincides with other spinoffs of the flagship series. Keep reading to find out more… According to Deadline, the new series will be titled Stuart Fails To Save The Universe, putting Kevin Sussman‘s Stuart Bloom at the center.

Along with Kevin, Brian Posehn, Lauren Lapkus and John Ross Bowie are set to reprise their characters Bert Kibbler, Denise and Barry Kripke.

Big Bang co-creator and executive producer Chuck Lorre will serve as creator and writer, along with fellow franchise co-creator Bill Prady and Zak Penn.

At this time, the series, which has been in the works for about two years now, has yet to be given an official green light. This would mark the third spinoff in the franchise, following Young Sheldon and the latest, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, which is currently in it’s first season and has been renewed for a second.
