Britain's Got Talent winner Viggo Venn has broken his silence after pulling out of a planned appearance on ITV's Lorraine on Tuesday, following him being booed during the final on Sunday night. The Norwegian comedy act said it's "not his fault" that he claimed victory in the popular reality talent competition.

In the final, he beat young gymnastic dancer Lillianna Clifton and teenage magician Cillian O'Connor to bag a staggering £250,000 prize. The champion will go on to perform in front of King Charles, and other members of the Royal Family, at the Royal Variety Performance on 30 November.

But his win has not come without some controversy. After dancing and waving around his high-vis top to Daft Punk's One More Time during his final performance, boos could be heard from the crowd as BGT hosts Ant and Dec announced the performer as the winner.

On Wednesday, June 7, he danced his way onto the set of Lorraine Kelly's morning show. Ahead of his appearance, Lorraine, 63, told viewers: "Well anything could happen this morning, Britain's Got Talent winner Viggo Venn will be live, right here in the studio." The clowning performer was seen backstage, with ITV crew members also sporting hi-vis tops or jackets, as he made an energetic entrance.
