Britain's Got Talent fans were left complaining after the first instalment's incredible performance from Greatest Showman singer Loren Allred, as many claimed Simon Cowell must have already "known" she was a professional and branded the show a "fix".

The contestant introduced herself as the singer behind Rebecca Ferguson's performances in the film. The character's most iconic moment takes place when she belts out the hit Never Enough in front of a theatre as Hugh Jackman's P.T.

Barnum sobs in the wings, but it was actually Loren singing the vocals. But while it's common knowledge on the internet that Loren was the singer (she is also credited directly in the film), and has even performed the track herself on American network PBS, it was her appearance on The Voice that left many particularly dubious.

Despite the confusion from fans at home, music mogul Simon, 62, was completely blown away and even stood up to clap the 32 year old starlet.
