BGT champ Axel Blake responds to fix claims as he defends Amazon Prime show

Axel Blake has spoken out about fix claims after his Britain's Got Talent win last night. The comic was crowned champion of the ITV reality show on Sunday night after he wowed judges with his impressive stand-up routine.

But some viewers were less than happy about his success, after it emerged that he has his own show on Amazon Prime. Axel appeared on Monday morning's Lorraine show where he addressed the accusations.He told the Scots TV host that he actually funded the programme himself.Host Lorraine Kelly asked Axel about the comedy special, with the funnyman deciding to set the record straight."I put that show on myself," he said of the filmed London special."I put my money where my mouth is and I achieved that, but it didn’t….

It looks like, 'Oh my gosh, it’s Amazon Prime', but if they saw the back end, it didn’t look like that financially, a lot of stress…"I had to borrow from other people, to say, 'Listen, I need to do something, I’ve already put the deposit down and stuff…' Then after that, Amazon picked it up.

So it wasn’t for Amazon Prime. I didn’t know they were going to pick it up. That was like a year later," Axel added.Viewers were livid about Axel's win and took to Twitter to vent their frustration, with some insisting there were other more deserving winners.
