Beyonce’s mum, Tina Knowles, has hit back at critics of the star’s new visual album Black Is King, after they accused Beyonce of ‘appropriating’ African culture for the project.
The singer, 38, created the album based around the soundtrack she produced for the 2019 live-action remake of the Lion King, and worked with ‘African creatives’ on all aspects of the project.
