Personal items that once belonged to late comedian Betty White, who passed away this past New Year's Eve at the age of 99, are set to go up for auction in September.In all, about 1,500 pieces taken from her two California homes will be up for grabs, including clothes and jewelry worn by the star, along with various awards, scripts and memorabilia collected during her eight-decade career in show business.Ahead of thelive auction event in Beverly Hills, the collection will beset up as an exhibit aboard the flagship Queen Mary 2.

Estate auction: Some personal items that once belonged to late actress and comedian Betty White are set to go up for auction at Julien's Auctions in Beverly Hills September 23-25The transatlantic exhibition aboard the Queen Mary 2 is set to depart out of New York on August 5, and will eventually arrive in Southampton, England on August 12.There will also be exhibitionsin Santiago, Chile from May 12-July 4, and then inKildare, Ireland from August 1-September 11.

The final stop of the celebratory tour will be at Julien's Auction in Beverly Hills from September 19-22.The Property From The Life And Career Of Betty White auction will begin on Friday, September 23 at Julien's Auctions and online on juliensauctions.com, and go for three days, until Sunday, September 25.
