Manchester United's supporters lauded Marcus Rashford after he fired the Reds into a 1-0 lead at home to Leicester City on Sunday afternoon, maintaining his outstanding run of form.
After calling upon goalkeeper David de Gea to keep the scores level at the other end of the pitch, producing outstanding saves to thwart both Harvey Barnes and then Kelechi Iheanacho in the opening exchanges, Rashford fired the home side in front with 25 minutes on the clock.
He latched onto an outstanding pass from Bruno Fernandes and fired an excellent low drive past Danny Ward. It marked his 23rd goal of the season and his fifth in his last five games.
He has now scored more goals this season than in any campaign previously in his career.
