Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno joked his save to deny Fred during Saturday’s Premier League clash with Manchester United was “perfect” because it looked good on television.
Leno put in a fine display against high-flying United at the Emirates on Saturday to ensure the game finished goalless. The goalkeeper was forced into numerous saves throughout the game, and was forced into a brilliant stop to deny Fred during the first half of the game.
Fred collected the ball on the edge of the area and curled a shot towards Leno’s left-hand post which looked to be heading into the bottom corner.
