Ben Stokes will miss the remainder of the Test series against Pakistan due to family reasons.The 29-year-old is flying back to home country New Zealand, the England and Wales Cricket Board have said, for family reasons where his parents Ged and Deb still live.He would have been leaving Manchester with the squad, where they had beaten Pakistan by three wickets in the first test.A statement from the ECB reads: “England all-rounder Ben Stokes will miss the remainder of the #raisethebat Test series against Pakistan for family reasons.“Stokes will leave the UK later this week and travel to New Zealand.
He will miss England's two Test matches against Pakistan at the Ageas Bowl on Thursday 13 August and Friday 21 August.“The England and Wales.
