Ben Platt‘s age has been a topic of conversation surrounding the Dear Evan Hansen movie for months and some recent comments he made on the subject are now going viral.

For those who don’t know, Ben was 27 when he made the movie and he plays a high school student. In some since-deleted tweets, he addressed his critics on the day the trailer was released.

Back in June, Ben did an interview with The Zach Sang Show and he addressed the criticism of his age in the movie.
