Ben Fogle says trolls have ‘knickers in a twist’ as he addresses backlash to Queen birthday song

Ben Fogle has addressed the ‘mean-spirited’ trolls after his well-meaning message to sing Happy Birthday to the Queen was hijacked on social media today.

The presenter shared with his followers online his hopes that on 21 April we could all sing to Her Majesty at 9am to bring ‘good cheer’ to not just the Queen, but for the whole nation.

However, the do-good vibe behind his tweet didn’t go down so well with social media punters, who may not have realised it was an idea that came from Ben’s nine-year-old daughter Iona.
