Ben Doak has been praised by former Liverpool midfielder Jay Spearing and hopes the Scot can reach the top of the game after a number of positive performances.Spearing, who is now the under-18s coach at Liverpool, has been pleased with the teenagers development since he moved from Celtic last March.
The Hoops netted around £600,000 in training fees for the youngster, who has been tipped for the very top after some stunning displays for the Merseyside club’s youth teams, especially in the UEFA Youth League.
The winger made his Premier League debut at the end of last year in a 3-1 win over Aston Villa.He has made a number of appearances for Jurgen Klopp's side since making the move and joined the Anfield outfit on their winter training camp in Dubai during the World Cup break.
Doak made his senior debut just days after signing his first professional contract in November, having turned out for the Hoops senior squad last January.
