Coy Ben Davies says he couldn't say no to Liverpool when they came calling to scupper Celtic's interest 18 months ago. But now he's vowed to make Rangers his "home" after leaving the Anfield giants.
English centre-back Davies penned a four-year deal at Ibrox last week in a major boost to Gio van Bronckhorst's defensive options.
He arrived from Liverpool after 18 months with the Merseysiders, where he failed to make a single first-team appearance. Davies had been close to signing for Celtic under Neil Lennon in January last year, but the Reds swooped in late on to land him from Preston as Jurgen Klopp sought emergency defensive cover.
But he struggled to push on and after spending last season on loan at Sheffield United, he now heads to Ibrox in a £4million deal.
