The actor took a jab at his ex-wife during an interview with Howard Stern where he claimed that the unhappy marriage contributed to his alcohol use. “Part of why I started drinking was because I was trapped,” the Argo star told the radio host, referring to his relationship with the actress. “I was like, ‘I can't leave because of my kids, but I'm not happy, what do I do?' And what I did was [I] drank a bottle of scotch & fell asleep on the couch, which turned out not to be the solution,” he added.
