Ben Affleck appeared to get emotional during his wife Jennifer Lopez‘s birthday dinner late on Sunday evening (July 24) in Paris, France.

The pair hit up Girafe restaurant, with views of the Eiffel Towel, where they celebrated the superstar’s 53rd birthday. During the dinner, it appeared as if Ben got a little emotional and they shared a sweet embrace. Ben was also seen taking either photos of videos of his wife as a special cake came to the table. They embraced one another a lot,” a source told People. A turquoise balloon was tied to their table and Ben took the birthday girl’s pic at midnight. “Then she released the balloon [and] set it to sail off towards the Tower,” the source added.

When they arrived back at their hotel at around 1:30 am, fans were still lined up to see her. “One [fan] had brought Jennifer a birthday present … one of those little Eiffel Towers that light up.
