Linda Lavin is opening up about her own sexual assault story. The Being The Ricardos and B Positive star spoke to Page Six about what happened on the set of Lena: My 100 Children, a TV movie where she starred as the title character in 1987. Click inside to read more… “There was sexual harassment by a very powerful man on the production team, and I was a victim of it, and it was physical and it was disgusting,” she shared of the incident with the outlet. Linda, who has also starred in TV sitcom Alice, went on, saying that she “went to the women on the crew and said, ‘Will you go to the union with me?’ And they said, ‘We’ll lose our jobs [if we do], and so I was alone with it and I was scared.” She added that there were other instances as well, and they “happened in more subtle ways,” and she felt like she could not do anything about it at the time. “The difference is now I do [speak up] because of those women who came forward in the last few years and because I got my self-esteem back,” Linda says. “[Now] We have support and regulations.
