“It’s showtime” for Jenna Ortega.The 21-year-old actress’ wardrobe lately isn’t as strange and unusual as it may seem — at least not for the star of director Tim Burton’s “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.”The actress has been celebrating the original film’s funky fashions with tributes to the 1988 cult classic “Beetlejuice” while promoting the sequel on red carpets around the world.
In her most recent nod to the original film, Ortega and her team got creative with a structured gray and black Harris Reed ensemble inspired by the statue made by Catherine O’Hara’s character Delia Deetz in the original film, according to stylist Enrique Melendez.
The set was styled with black velvet opera gloves and a miniature model of the haunted Deetz family home as a purse for the London premiere.
In Venice, Ortega wowed in a custom red sheer Dior gown with a heart-shaped top and pleated bottom. An homage to Winona Ryder’s character Lydia Deetz’s iconic red wedding dress.
