‘Beef’: William Fichtner, Mikaela Hoover, Seoyeon Jang & Rapper BM Join Season 2 Of Netflix Series
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Netflix has added Seoyeon Jang (Butterfly), William Fichtner (Mom, The Talamasca), Mikaela Hoover (Superman, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.
3) and musician BM — in his acting debut — to the Season 2 cast of Beef, its award-winning anthology series from Lee Sung Jin and A24.
American-born, Korea-based BM is known as leader of the K-Pop co-ed group KARD and his solo rap career. The quartet rounds out the cast, joining previously announced stars Carey Mulligan, Oscar Isaac, Charles Melton, Cailee Spaeny, Youn Yuh-jung and Song Kang-Ho.
The new installment centers on a young couple (Spaeny, Melton) who witness an alarming fight between their boss (Isaac) and his wife (Mulligan), triggering chess moves of favors and coercion in the elitist world of a country club and its Korean billionaire owner (Youn).
