Police have revealed more details around the crash that left three people dead in a popular North Wales town. The smash happened close to the busy pier and seafront in Beaumaris on Anglesey just after 2.45pm yesterday (August 28).
Tragically, three people died with police and emergency services taping off the scene. In an update today, police have said A driver and two pedestrians were killed in the crash as they continue to investigate.
North Wales Police said officers responded to reports of a road collision involving a grey Audi A8 and two pedestrians in Beaumaris on Anglesey, shortly after 2.45pm on Wednesday.
The male driver, in his 80s, and a man and woman in their 60s were pronounced dead at the scene in Alma Street which runs along the seafront past Beaumaris Pier.
