A “nervous” family who appeared on BBC’s ‘Wanted Down Under’ are so desperate to make their overseas dream come true they’re raffling their UK home.

Christine and Paul McDonald, both 42, and their two sons appeared on the programme three years ago, which gave Brits keen on emigrating a real taste of Aussie life.

Since then the couple from Sunderland have been trying to arrange the big move hoping it will give their son a better future.

And now, with their visas finally in place, the family need to sell their £170,000 four bedroom home. They put the house on the market in March, but as Covid-19 hit there was no opportunity to find interested buyers.
