The BBC has decided to take "no further action" after looking into an incident involving Wynne Evans and Katya Jones that occurred over the weekend.

Strictly Come Dancing star Katya has spoken up about the recent controversy with her dance partner Wynne, saying she "can't bear" the way he's been "portrayed as someone he is not".This follows a moment from Saturday night's live show where she appeared to move his hand away from her waist.

A BBC insider told the Mirror today regarding the situation: "Wynne and Katya have confirmed that their interactions in the Clauditorium were silly jokes they had planned together and have apologised to anyone who may have misinterpreted them. They addressed them on Wynne's Instagram, where their apology can be found.

Katya would like to clarify further that she was not offended by Wynne and was not made to feel uncomfortable in the least she has also clarified on her Instagram. The welfare and production teams have checked in on the pair and there are no further actions planned." The duo made an appearance on the BBC spin-off 'It Takes Two' last night with host Fleur East, where Katya discussed the widely circulated social media incident.
