The Traitors star Alexander Dragonetti has shared how it was a 'tricky decision' to reveal details of his family life on the show, which in return has led to an unexpected wave of support.
The finalist of the BBC One gameshow's 2025 series has said he is "so pleased" he opened up about his late brother’s story during his time in the castle in the Scottish Highlands after it inspired fans to donate more than £60,000 to a learning disability charity.
The former British diplomat admitted it was a "tricky decision" to talk about his younger brother, who had global development delay and autism and died aged 17, when Alexander was 24.
During series three of the hit TV show, Alexander said if he won he would love to donate some of the prize money to Mencap because it had run summer camps which his brother and he attended together.
