BBC The Traitors' Paul's secret iconic gameshow past revealed with beloved presenter
ok.co.ukPaul Gorton is one of the contestants competing on the new series of BBC's The Traitors, but it looks like he's no stranger to television, as he previously appeared on a very popular gameshow.
The 36 year old business manager, who hails from Manchester, took part in Deal or No Deal back in 2010. A clip of his appearance on the Channel 4 show, then hosted by Noel Edmonds, has resurfaced, showing a baby-faced Paul attempting to win the £250,000 cash prize.
In the episode, host Noel introduced Paul as an advertising account manager who had been recently made redundant. Sadly for Paul, his time on Deal or No Deal didn't result in a big cash win, as he was left with £10 and 10p.The banker allowed him to swap and unfortunately he left with 10p.
The Channel 4 edition of Deal or No Deal ran from 2005 until 2016, with Noel hosting every series.The show has since been rebooted by ITV, with Stephen Mulhern taking over presenting duties.
