BBC has teased The Glastonbury Experience which will go ahead next month on the weekend the festival was due to go ahead for its 50th anniversary.
Glastonbury’s 2020 festival was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic, but wanting to still mark what would have been a milestone year for the festival, organisers have put together a Glasto special for fans forced to stay home.
Taking place between 25 and 29 June, the BBC will be bringing Glastonbury and some of its most iconic performances into the living rooms of fans across the country via its TV and radio platforms.
Fans will get to rewatch classic headline sets from the likes of Adele and Coldplay in 2016, Beyonce in 2011, Jay-Z in 2008 and David Bowie in 2000 – whose set hasn’t yet
