BBC Strictly star heartbroken over tragic family loss: 'I'll miss you every day'
ok.co.ukStrictly Come Dancing's Lauren Oakley has been left devastated over the death of her beloved grandmother. Lauren, 32, who was paired with Krishnan Guru-Murthy on Strictly in 2023, took to Instagram to share a number of videos and snaps with her grandma.
In one, she could be seen smiling with her, whilst in the second, they could be seen holding hands. Another video showed Lauren wheeling her grandma across a car park.
In the caption, she wrote: “In my heart forever and always. “When I dance, you’ll be there. My biggest fan. I’ll miss you every day.” Her fellow Strictly stars, friends and fans rushed to offer their condolences in the comments, with Strictly pro Nikita Kuzmin commenting: “Sending so much love Laurs.” Neil Jones wrote: “Sending you and your family all my love," whilst Gorka Marquez added: “Sending you lots of love.” Giovanni Pernice added a number of love heart emojis.
He has been facing a tough time of late, as his apparently tough training style on Strictly has been called into question. However, Lauren recently showed her support for him, as she posted a snap to Instagram of them dancing ahead of the Strictly tour, writing "....
