BBC Strictly 'spoiler' panics fans as 'wrong' results leaked on social media

The latest celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing 2023 has been suggested in an online spoiler - and it's left fans furious that the 'wrong' person may have been booted out.

Following the live show every Saturday night, in which all of the couples give it their all on the dance floor, the results show is aired on a Sunday - even though it's filmed the night beforeThis means the results are kept hush until then, but for every results night since 2012, the judges' decision has been revealed online - which Anton Du Beke says is 'ruining' the show for fans.This week has been slightly different though, as the 'spoiler' has not come from the official Strictly Spoiler account that usually shares the weekly results.

We have declined to reveal who the rumoured sixth eliminated celebrity is, ahead of the results show this eveningFans have been left fuming with the decision reportedly made by the public and then the judges, the Mirror reports.

Several took to social media to share their anger, with one person writing: "Wrong person has gone." While another commented: "Waiting for the plot twist...." A third pleaded: "Can someone please tell me this isn't true."Strictly's 'super leaker' Dave Thorp, who spoke exclusively to the Mirror last year, also took to social media to explain why his 'official' spoiler has not been released yet.
