Dianne Buswell has vocalised her love for Chris McCausland even after their perceived 'split' following their Strictly Come Dancing win.
The dynamic duo were victorious in the final of the star-studded BBC One dance competition in December.A transformative journey began for the pro dancer and the comedian when they teamed up for Strictly's landmark 20th season back in September, the M.E.N reports.Fast forward another 13 weeks, and Chris – who made history as Strictly's first-ever blind contestant – alongside Dianne was overwhelmed with emotion as they hoisted the renowned Glitterball trophy into the air. When the glitter settled post-final, the pair embarked on separate paths.
Unlike previous winners who often band back together at the year's outset for the Strictly Come Dancing Live tour, Chris and Dianne did not reconvene. While Dianne continues to dazzle in the Live tour performances, Chris took a different route, embarking on a solo venture with his stand-up show, Yonks!, which had been postponed so he could join the Strictly 2024 cast.
Chris confirmed his tour plans by announcing: "My stand-up tour #Yonks continues in a couple of weeks time. The first three months of the year are completely sold out, but tickets are available for some dates from April onwards.."However, fans who watched their heartfelt Strictly win recently had their spirits lifted as Chris and Dianne made a heartwarming comeback through a new podcast.
