Brendan Cole has said that Annabel Croft and Zara McDermott's days on Strictly Come Dancing are "numbered" as he shared his verdict on this year's line-up of celebrities. The former Strictly pro, 47, has shared his thoughts with Sky Bingo, as he began: "Annabel and Johannes [Radebe] and Zara and Graziano [Di Prima] days are numbered. "I’m surprised either couple has lasted this long." He also hit out at former Emmerdale star Adam Thomas, as he continued: "Also, Adam and Luba [Mushtuk], I don’t know what their number was, but I don’t see it belonging on Strictly. To me it was a nothing number and I didn’t want to watch it." Turning his thoughts to Angela Rippon, Brendan argued she's not going to get better if she can’t create "magical moments" with her Latin numbers. "There's a certain freedom that comes within the Latin numbers that you can really exploit in Strictly and I don't know that we've seen that from her yet and if it doesn't come soon, she's not going to get better," he said. "Having said that she's already really, really good and she's embracing what Strictly is and I think that's magnificent.
I don't think we've seen many contestants like her in terms of that so far. "This was the first time since the show started, I thought ‘Crikey, I mean, give her the glitter ball’, she’s really, really good for her age and for her demographic." Brendan finished: "All credit to her and Kai [Widdington] and production actually for being able to create those magical moments whether they can keep doing it for another seven or eight weeks?
Time will tell." Brendan's comments come after Amanda Abbington, who had been patterned with Giovanni Pernice, announced that she would be withdrawing from the competition.
