In a joint Instagram post the new parents announced the birth of their son alongside a black-and-white photo of the adorable newborn's feet. Sharing the infant's rather unsual name, they penned the caption: "Shepherd Lawrence Duhamel 1/11/24 [white heart emoji]" Singer and actor Lenny Kravitz led the messages of congratulations, as he commented: "Congratulations" followed by two heart emojis.

Actress Lynne Marta has sadly passed away age 78 following a battle with brain cancer. The American star, best known for starring in Footloose and ER, died in Los Angeles on 11 January, her friend Chris Saint-Hilaire told The Hollywood Reporter. Lynne's impressive career spanned four decades and she starred in films such as Joe Kidd and Footloose as well as TV shows including Love, American Style, Starsky & Hutch, Barnaby Jones, The F.B.I.
