BBC Strictly's Adam Thomas behind in dance rehearsals after becoming unwell

Adam Thomas, who is taking part in this year's Strictly Come Dancing, admitted his work schedule is becoming intense this week as he has missed out on vital dance rehearsals with the show looming just a few days away after becoming unwell.The former Emmerdale actor is also juggling various work opportunities with his brothers, Scott and Ryan Thomas, as well as continuing filming for BBC show Waterloo Road in between dancing with his professional partner Luba Mushtuk.

The 35-year-old took to social media on Wednesday to provide fans with an update after becoming run down with flu like symptoms, as he said he was filling himself up with "lots of berocca and coffee" to try get himself back fighting fit.Adam said to his one million Instagram followers: "Hi guys thank you for all the get well messages, it really means a lot.

I'm not feeling the best today but a bit better than yesterday and the show must go on."It's Wednesday and I still don't know my routine, I missed a days training and work yesterday," he sighed. "Come on, let's go."He later met up with his BBC professional dancing partner Luba Mushtuk and his mum and brother Scott Thomas for some shooting together as they reminisced on fond memories of his childhood as part of the dancing show."I'm meeting up with Luba, Scott and my mum for a very special recording of a VT today and taking a little trip down memory lane, so yeah it should be nice," Adam added as he filmed his mum chatting away to Luba pointing out his old school.
