BBC Strictly Come Dancing viewers share Tess Daly and Claudia Winkelman joke as they host final

Strictly Come Dancing fans were quick off the mark on Saturday night (December 16) as the final got underway. After an incredible 13 weeks, we reached the end of the BBC One dance contest with Ellie Leach, Layton Williams and Bobby Brazier in the final alongside their professional dancers.

And the programme, of course, pulled out all the stops as they drew the contest to a close for another year. The Strictly professionals performed dressed in black and white, with Amy Dowden also involved much to fans' delight after she had to pull out of competing in the competition this year.

The 33-year-old revealed earlier this year she had been diagnosed with breast cancer before undergoing a mastectomy and eight rounds of chemotherapy treatment before other health battles ended her chances of appearing back on the ballroom floor at an earlier date. But fans couldn't help but be distracted by the pair as they didn't hold back in their outfit choices for the 2023 final. While Tess opted for a strapless figure-hugging silver number, Claudia also added a touch of pizzazz with a glittering bronze jumpsuit that boasted a plunging neckline.
