Strictly Come Dancing star Zara McDermott said she 'can't stop crying' as she broke her silence on her exit from the competition.

The documentary maker, who made history as the first Love Island star to take part in the show, was voted out of the contest on Sunday night (October 29).

Zara and her professional dance partner Graziano Di Prima lost their chance to lift the Glitterball trophy later this year after their Charleston dance to Jeepers Creepers by Al Donahue and his Orchestra failed to impress the judges during the BBC One show's annual Halloween special.

Zara, 26, received a total of 25 points from the judges on Saturday (October 28) and following a public vote faced Waterloo Road’s Adam Thomas and Luba Mushtuk in the dance-off.
