Actor Nigel Harman sadly had to withdraw from BBC's Strictly Come Dancing at the weekend after he sustained an injury to his ribs that landed him - ironically - in the emergency room.
According to the 50 year old, he injured himself during rehearsals while practising a stunt, telling host Claudia Winkleman that he was "leaping off a rostrum and was about to be caught by some very handsome men." "As I flew I was Peter Pan and as I landed, I was in A&E," he shared.
Naturally, the Casualty star and his partner Katya Jones were gutted to have to pull out of the show so close to the finish line, and by the sounds of it, so were plenty of their Strictly peers.
One person in particular who has spoken out about Nigel's untimely departure is judge Craig Revel-Horwood, who revealed that the show's atmosphere has "changed." The 58 year old explained how Claudia and her co host, Tess Daly are picking up the pieces and working hard to ensure that the remaining stars are cool, calm and collected ahead of the looming final.
