Strictly Come Dancing star Tom Dean has said he was left 'very apologetic' towards his dance partner Nadiya Bychkova following a painful accident in rehearsals.
The Olympic swimmer was seen last weekend performing in the ballroom for the first time alongside Nadiya. The pair, who have dubbed themselves 'Team Golden' with three gold medals from their respective sports between them, performed a tango to Harry Styles’s song Golden, which received 23 points from the judges.
Motsi Mabuse was heard telling Tom that his "hard work has paid off" and while they had "great partnering", Tom's posture struggled.
Comments about posture were echoed by head judge Shirley Ballas but admitted the sportsman has "great potential".
