BBC Strictly Come Dancing star 'thought life might end' in surprise admission after first live show

Strictly Come Dancing star Montell Douglas has candidly shared how she felt during her first live performance of the series.

The Gladiators star was partnered earlier this month with professional dancer Johannes Radebe for the BBC One dance contest.

But it wasn't until Saturday night (September 21) that all 15 couples were seen performing in their couples for the first time as week one of Strictly 2024 got underway.

During the first live show of the series, Montell, known as 'Fire' in the BBC Gladiators reboot, and Johannes were seen performing an elegant Foxtrot to Is You Is or Is You Ain't My Baby by Dinah Washington, for which they were awarded 26 points out of a possible 40 from the judges.
