As Strictly's inaugural visually impaired contestant, Chris passionately danced to You'll Never Walk Alone, an homage to his hometown and the famed song of Liverpool Football Club.Their performance, steeped in sentiment, received rapturous applause from everyone in the studio, with them standing in ovation while Dianne beamingly told Chris she was "so proud of him".
Judges, including a particularly moved Shirley Ballas who took a moment to compose herself, showered the duo with compliments and handed them a total of 35 points out of 40 their highest score thus far in the competition, reports the Manchester Evening News.
