Fans were left thrilled as the class of 2024 was officially welcomed into the iconic ballroom last Saturday night (September 14) by hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman during the colourful and energetic pre-recorded launch show.
It was also the time that the pairings for this year's run of the competition were revealed and it was confirmed that former Coronation Street star Shayne would be taking part in Strictly's 20th anniversary year with Nancy Xu. On Shayne’s competitive spirit, Nancy said: "Well I will try.
Since that’s your goal, that’s my goal!" in a nod to Shayne's first-ever single 'That's My Goal' when he won The X Factor back in 2005.
