But now, there are just days to go until the latest season of the BBC One contest does come to an end - until the autumn at least.
The Strictly Come Dancing Live 2025 tour has seen Kai back doing what he does best after he was left without a partner during the recent series.
Now, he's got a prime role in the string of live arena shows as he's stepped in to partner Gladiators star Montell Douglas. Kai has been drafted in to partner Montell after her 2024 series partner Johannes Radebe couldn't commit to the tour as he's already touring the country in his first-ever theatre role.
