Janette Manrara has 'surprised' fans as she gave them a glimpse at her experience during Strictly Come Dancing's special in Blackpool.

The team headed for their annual jaunt up north where the show was broadcast live from the world-famous Tower Ballroom. Celebrating its 20th year, Strictly started the special show on Saturday night (November 16) with a performance from the Pet Shop Boys, who opened with a medley of hits as the Strictly professional dancers performed a routine around them.

It was then time for the eight remaining celebrities and their professional dance partners to take to the famous ballroom floor with their latest performances which they hoped would take them one step closer to the coveted Glitterball trophy as the final edges ever closer. But not only way she celebrating Strictly's latest trip to Blackpool, she was also marking her 41st birthday. She's now taken to social media with pictures and videos from the night, writing on Instagram: "Celebrated my birthday the only way I know how….
