Jamie Borthwick have made a 'promise' to fans as his Strictly Come Dancing future was confirmed. The EastEnders star provided one of the stand-out moments of the night as the BBC One dance contest broadcast live from Blackpool in its annual special.

The show relocated to the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom for its annual special, in which the eight remaining couples took to the famous ballroom floor in a bid to impress the judges and viewers at home.

And it was Jamie who was last out on Saturday night (November 16), which marked week nine of Strictly's 2024 series, and performed a condiment-themed jive to The Ketchup Song by Las Ketchup with his professional dance partner Michelle Tsiakkas. As the judges delivered their verdicts on his dance, Motsi Mabuse burst out laughing, telling Borthwick that no one wants to "dance so much as you", calling it a "fantastic way" to end the show.
