Katya Jones has shared another 'blow' following her unexpected Strictly Come Dancing exit in a post on social media. The professional dancer was forced to withdraw from the competition just before the quarter-finals after celebrity partner Nigel Harman suffered an injury.

Major changes had to be made following the actor's sudden exit from the show - after he sustained a rib injury that left him in A&E.

His withdrawal from the competition was announced just hours before the show was due to air. Nigel has since admitted the injury had happened the day before, and that he was covering his pain during an appearance on It Takes Two on the Friday (December 1). After their live TV appearance on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two, Katya took to Instagram where she addressed her followers and shared her thanks to those who supported her and Nigel as well as those behind-the-scenes - including friends - who the viewers don't get to see.
