BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Ellie Leach says she 'loves this man' as she speaks out after Vito Coppola comments

Ellie Leach has declared her love for Vito Coppola after the Strictly Come Dancing winners were faced with comments on their relationship.

The pair quickly became favourites last year when they were paired for the 2023 series of the BBC One dance contest. Their partnership went from strength to strength over the three months they were dancing together and they later emerged victorious and lifted the coveted Glitterball trophy during the Strictly final in December - making Ellie the competition's youngest-ever winner at 22.

After going their separate ways for Christmas and New Year, with Vito heading back to Italy where he documented working back on his family's farm, the Italian dancer and former Coronation Street Ellie were eventually reunited earlier this year for the Strictly Come Dancing Live 2024 tour. Ellie has since gone on to pastures new and while still living out of her suitcase, she is now hitting the road in her stage debut as Miss Scarlett in Cluedo 2 - The Next Chapter.
