It was another epic weekend in the world of the BBC One dance contest on Saturday night (October 5) as week three of this year's competition became the annual Movie Week special.
Just 13 of the 14 remaining couples performed during the live show as, at the eleventh hour, DIY SOS star Nick Knowles and his dance partner Luba Mushtuk were forced to pull out of the show this weekend after Nick suffered an injury on Friday (October 4). READ MORE: BBC Strictly Come Dancing fans hail 'best ever' couple and tip them to win - but it's not Tasha and Aljaz And among the couples were Morning Live's Dr Punam and Spanish dancer Gorka who performed the first couple’s choice of the show’s 20th-anniversary series to Bole Chudiyan from the Bollywood film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham which saw them come joint second in the leaderboard, scoring 33.
The performance quickly saw Strictly viewers flock to social media to heap praise of Punam and Gorka's performance and congratulate them for bringing Bollywood to the hit dance show as its never been done before.
