Strictly Come Dancing stars Dianne Buswell and Vito Coppola were awkwardly put on the spot when they were quizzed over Giovanni Pernice omission from this year's series.
The pair appeared on This Morning to talk about their return to the BBC One dance contest as it celebrates its 20th birthday later this year as well as their upcoming joint tour.
But during the chat, talk turned to Dianne and Vito's departing co-star after it was revealed Giovanni wouldn't be taking part in the 2024 series amid allegations about his behaviour, including that of "threatening and abusive behaviour" towards his former partners. Giovanni, 33, issued a fresh statement on Sunday morning (June 16) and said he is “co-operating fully” with an ongoing BBC investigation and is looking forward to “clearing my name and establishing the truth”.
