Chris McCausland's Cbeebies career has been rediscovered as his former co-stars paid tribute to him over his success in the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing so far.

The comedian has been impressing viewers of the BBC One dance contest both in and our of the ballroom as he takes part in the show alongside professional dancer Dianne Buswell.

Chris, who is Strictly's first blind contestant, and Dianne are also firm favourites to lift the Glitterball trophy this year, despite the final of the show's 20th-anniversary series still being a number of weeks away. Among those showing their support for Chris' dancing journey is some familiar faces from his past working on Cbeebies. Some may not know that Chris, who is now best known for his stand-up and regular stints on panel shows such as Would I Lie To You and appearing in sitcoms like Not Going Out, actually had his first major TV exposure on the children's programme Me Too!
