Annabel Croft has shown her support for her former Strictly Come Dancing co-star Johannes Radebe as he opened up in a new interview about his fear of having to leave the UK and the reaction to being in a same-sex partnership on the show three years ago.
Johannes shot to fame when he joined the BBC One show in 2018 and in 2021, he made it all the way to the final when he was partnered with former Great British Bake Off star John Whaite.
But now, Johannes has opened up about the hate he received for dancing with John. In a new interview, Johannes revealed he was told to not return home to his birthplace in South Africa.
He told The Guardian: "People would tell me and John that we were disgusting, that I should never come back to Africa, that I’m a disgrace." READ MORE: BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Ellie Leach seen cosying up to co-star that's not Vito Coppola after 'broke' admission Try MEN Premium now for FREE...
