Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola have been crowned the winners of Strictly Come Dancing 2023. Fans flocked to social media in their droves to have their say as the results were revealed by Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman on Saturday night (December 16) following a spectacular grand final.
The pair fought off stiff competition from Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin, and Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell, to take the title for the 21st series and lift the coveted Glitterball trophy, which will now be coming home to Greater Manchester as former Coronation Street star Ellie hails from Bury.
After the three performances each, the scores given by the judges saw, Layton and Nikita received a total score of 119 points out of a possible 120 while Bobby and Dianne bagged 117 points.
Ellie and Vito then placed bottom of the final leaderboard having received a total of 115 points.
