Strictly Come Dancing fans have said they 'feel like they're intruding' in Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystal partnership as they gushed over the 'chemistry' between the pair during their second-ever performance.

Viewers of the BBC One dance contest will have seen Pete and Jowita perform live for the first time in the iconic ballroom last weekend as the new series officially got underway a week after the airing of the pre-recorded launch show.

They earned 17 points for their paso doble to Breathe by electronic dance music band The Prodigy and after another week of training, the pair were hoping to impress as voting lines opened for the first time ahead of the first dance-off an elimination of Strictly 2024. The routine saw moments of electricity between the pair, with Pete pulling Jowita in close with their lips just millimetres apart, before ending the dance by leaning in for a kiss before the stage lights cut out.
