Fans of Strictly Come Dancing were left divided when they got more than they bargained for during the show's grand final. On Saturday night (December 16) this year's run of the BBC One dance contest came to an end.

The last live show of the series saw Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola, Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin and Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell perform for the last time - not once but THREE times - in the hope of being named the Strictly 2023 champions.

At the end of the show-stopping night in the ballroom, the scores given by the judges saw Layton and Nikita at the top of the leaderboard with a total score of 119 points out of a possible 120 while Bobby and Dianne bagged 117 points.

Ellie and Vito, meanwhile, placed bottom of the final leaderboard having received a total of 115 points.
