Strictly Come Dancing fans have called for a rule change following a dance-off nightmare for Shayne Ward. The actor and singer found himself in the bottom-two for the third time this series.This ultimately led to his departure from the BBC competition in week eight.

His latest appearance in the dreaded dance-off with his professional partner marked their third and final unlucky stint as they were eliminated during Sunday night's show.Shayne and Nancy were confirmed to be in the bottom two and faced off against Wynne Evans and Katya Jones during the seventh results show of Strictly's 20th-anniversary series, reports the Manchester Evening News.Both couples reprised their routines, with Shayne and Nancy first performing their Rumba to Time After Time by Cyndi Lauper before Wynne and Katya danced their American Smooth to Grace Kelly by MIKA.

After both couples had performed a second time, the judges delivered their verdicts: Craig Revel Horwood and Motsi Mabuse chose to save Shayne and Nancy, while Anton Du Beke opted to save Wynne and Katya.

With two votes in favour of Shayne and Nancy, the decision came down to head judge Shirley Ballas, who decided to save Wynne and Katya.
